Addie Rodriguez is an emerging mixed media artist with a keen interest in 2D collages and 3D assemblages. In recent years Addie has immersed herself in visual arts as her latest creative outlet. Her fashion illustration and design skills are evident in her artworks. She purposefully chooses to work with materials that she can touch, cut, and place in a particular order versus using a computer. The tactile aspect of her collages, assemblages, and mixed media pieces are considered paramount to any art she chooses to create. Addie’s artworks have been selected by jurors for group exhibitions at Arts4All Florida Community Outreach Village at Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, Florida Craft Art, Studios@5663, and Brick City Center for the Arts.
