Lashonda is an accomplished strategic communications and marketing professional and award-winning storyteller. She has served as communications director at Florida Humanities and manager of communications and public relations for the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. During her decade-long journalism career, she worked as a city government reporter and features writer (covered visual and performing arts) for the Ocala Star-Banner and Gainesville Sun newspapers, as well as a fashion editor and columnist for Gainesville Magazine. Lashonda also has vast experience in editorial planning and magazine publishing. Born and raised in Atlanta, Lashonda has a bachelor’s degree in mass media arts/ print journalism from Clark Atlanta University.
