Sarah Howard currently serves as the Acting Director for Graphicstudio, Assistant Dean of Student Success, and the Assistant Director for the USF School of Art and Art History in USF’s College of Design, Art and Performance. For over two decades, Howard has contributed to the USF Contemporary Art Museum, Graphicstudio, and the Public Art Program by researching, producing, and presenting projects by contemporary artists. From 2013 to 2023, Howard was Curator of Public Art and Social Practice, responsible for administering Florida’s Art in State Buildings Program across the three USF campuses. She has collaborated with national and local partners to present exhibitions, community-based projects, and public art installations that explore the intersection of art and social and environmental justice. Howard received her MFA in Studio Art from the University of South Florida and earned a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University.
