Lori Vinesett, a native of the vibrant Tampa Bay area, discovered her passion for art at a young age, often drawing and painting on any available surface.
After earning her degrees from the University of South Florida, Lori channeled her creativity into a successful career in education. She eventually decided to redirect her focus and energy toward her true passion: the arts.
Since 2023, Lori has been an integral part of Creative Pinellas, taking on various roles within the organization. Her contributions include coordinating 3rd Saturday family activities, assisting with exhibition installation and deinstallation, supporting facilities management, and hosting in the gallery. She has also curated several exhibitions, such as the Pinellas African American Heritage K–12 Student Art Exhibition, the Congressional District High School Art Competition, and Youth Art Month. Her dedication and versatility have made her a valuable asset to the Creative Pinellas community.
As a self-taught artist, Lori continues to explore and expand her creative boundaries through mixed media art. She constantly evolves her techniques and artistic voice through personal exploration and experimentation, with her pieces often reflecting a deep personal narrative and a commitment to examining the human condition through diverse materials and techniques.
