A row of businesses at 2705 54th Avenue North in Lealman is now home to a bold burst of creativity, thanks to artist Ashley Cassens and a community-driven partnership between Creative Pinellas and the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area (CRA). Cassens’s mural, Sweet Disposition, wraps the side of the building in vivid oranges and patterns that reflect iconic Florida style—blending a vibrant artistic energy with a nostalgic, tropical palette.
Creative Pinellas is proud to oversee this public art project as part of its mission to uplift the arts across Pinellas County. This mural is an example of how public art can transform spaces, support local artists, and create memorable experiences for both residents and visitors. Sweet Disposition also enhances the economic and cultural vibrancy of the Lealman area, benefiting nearby businesses.
